General Festival Info

The 2026 Osun International Film Festival is scheduled to run alongside the historical Osun-Osogbo Cultural Festival weeks. The main hubs, red carpet events, and screening locations are situated in central Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria.

General and VIP screening passes can be reserved online through our ticket links. Accredited filmmakers, press personnel, and partners will receive custom credentials upon registration validation.

Yes! We have dedicated family-friendly screenings (such as our local Pop Up Cinema in city gardens) and student educations. Note that certain feature-film screenings carry standard age-censorship ratings specified by the NFVCB.

Film Submissions

We accept Feature Narratives, Documentary Features, Short Films, and Student-led school productions. Submissions focusing on indigenous arts, cultural preservation, and folklore representations are highly prioritized.

Absolutely. Current student ID cardholders from any recognized global tertiary institution can enter our Student Education category entirely free of charge. Please use the submission portal on our Student Education page.

Travel & Lodging

International travelers can fly to Lagos (LOS) or Abuja (ABV), connect via domestic air lanes to Akure or Ibadan, and request a road shuttle to Osogbo.
